WHO ARE WE
Alamo Mexican Imports (El Álamo Pottery) is a family owned and operated store that offers many different handmade products by Artisans from the small villages throughout Mexico.We have more than 40 years of experience with marketing these fine products. This has allowed us to build strong relationships with the Artisans and to understand the true passion that dedicates them to create the beautiful pieces they create. All of our products have been handmade using methods that have been passed down through generations.
Take a look at our website or stop by our store and imagine taking a step deep into Mexico. Feel free to ask anyone for any information about the pieces we sell. We will be more than happy to share the history of the piece with you.
OUR STORE
Our store is located at 6030 San Bernardo, Laredo, Texas 78041. There we offer furniture made of mesquite, parota, and pine woods. We offer many forms of pottery that is handmade. We have a large selection of absolutely beautiful handmade Talavera Pottery. You can also see our mouth-blown glassware. We have religious items from all over Mexico.
OUR ONLINE STORE
In our online store we offer you the ability to see some of the items we offer in the store. We also offer you a place to be able to purchase items such as clothing, jewelry, and accessories. We also offer some of the smaller items from the store for purchase. Any of the larger items that you see can be purchased, but we will need to discuss shipping. If you are in Laredo we can do same day shipping. We can also have custom items made. Custom items will have a wait time dependent on our suppliers needs.
Not all of our items shown in the online store are available for purchase. Items may be too big for normal shipping. We do make the items available to see. This is so we can showcase what we have to offer in the store. If you see something that you’re interested in, just send Gaby a message and we can help you out. We can make arrangements to have items shipped, but this is case by case basis.
